If you already set up direct deposit but have not yet received the funds in your Stretch account, first reach out to your employer or benefits provider to check whether they had your correct Stretch account and routing numbers.

Also, confirm the time and date they sent the funds. For payments coming from an employer, confirm the actual payday with them when you should have your wages available in your account. Payments made using the ACH payment system can take 1 to 2 business days to clear and show in your Stretch account.

When a direct deposit is initiated by your employer or benefits provider such as SSI, we do not receive the funds instantly. It goes through multiple processing steps and final clearing before being released as available funds in your Stretch account.

Unfortunately, we do not have visibility into the processing status. Know that sometimes your wage deposit may first show as 'pending' under your Stretch transactions one day or so before your employer's actual payday. The funds will be fully cleared and released for your use on your actual employer's payday.

If you don't see your funds in your Stretch account, it means we haven’t received them yet.
